Thank you for visiting our shop Wizard Rockets. The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.
Shipping processing time
Orders placed before 2.00pm are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are based on the size and weight of the item, Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We are currently unable to accept overseas orders or ship outside of mainland UK.
Please note that not all items listed on our website can be shipped some will need to be collected please see ‘Collecting Order’ page for details.
UK Mainland
Small packages will be sent by Royal Mail First Class Service. Larger packages will be sent by 24Hr Courier (48Hr to outlying regions)
Courier deliveries are Monday to Friday only.
Royal mail deliveries may be recorded/special delivery at either our discretion or your request and therefore may need to be signed for upon receipt.
Courier services do not include weekends or bank holidays and must be signed for.
Delivery dates and times are not guaranteed.
Returns
Your rights
When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Our returns policy is offered in addition to your legal rights. Please do consider contacting us first if you have any reason to dispute a sale, the service you received, or have a problem with the products you have received.
What happens to orders I have placed for collection?
We will hold items you order online for a period depending on the type of item you ordered and when/where you said you would collect them. See Collecting Orders for more information.
You are expected to contact us to arrange collection, we cannot contact each customer individually.
In cases where the collection deadline has passed and we are unable to refund (e.g. if the card cannot be refunded to due to cancellation of your card, or the payment provider refund limit has passed), no refund will be offered. We cannot refund to a different form of payment than originally used.
Can I return items I have ordered?
Your rights allow you to return goods unconditionally in some circumstances, e.g. if the items are faulty or misdescribed by us. Please email us contact@wizardrockets.co.uk
Additionally, if you are not satisfied with your purchase and items are NEW and UNOPENED, you may return the items within 14 days from the day you received your order.
For orders placed for collection, the cancellation period starts when you place the order and completes 14 days after you collect your items. For orders delivered to an intermediary, for example if you have asked us to ship or deliver your goods to a third party for later collection by you, your cancellation period ends 14 days after the goods are received by the third party.
Return shipment will be at your own cost and you should ensure that the shipment is packaged safely, securely and insured appropriately. Refunds will not be issued for returned items that get lost or damaged whilst in transit. Should your shipper lose or damage the goods, a refund will not be issued and you will need to claim for the loss or damage from your shipping company.
Items returned must include all original packaging, be unopened and undamaged. We will not accept items that have been glued, adjusted or tampered with from the original form; upon arrival all items will be checked thoroughly.
Rocket motors are perishable items and will deteriorate rapidly if not kept securely, at a stable room temperature, and in a low humidity environment. For this reasons, rocket motors are normally exempted from the right to cancel under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 paragraph 13(1)(c).
Items offered as kits or components (for example, rocket kits, avionics and other electronics) must be in original packaging and be unopened. Upon the receipt of your package, your products will be examined and a full refund will be issued to your original method of payment with 5 days, there is no restocking fee.
Unavailable and substitute items
If you order goods which prove to be unavailable, we will contact you to determine whether you would like a full refund. In some circumstances we may offer you substitute goods.
If, upon receipt of substitute goods, you wish to return them for any reason, return postage will be paid by us.
Defective Items
We will work with you to resolve any issues prior to accepting the return. Please make initial contact by email, send photos of the product, detailed description of your issues, and any details of what you have already done to fix it.
Incorrect Item
We are only human, if the product you receive is incorrect, please make initial contact by email, sending photos of the product received and the packaging it came in. We will then discuss the return and re-delivery options on a case by case basis.
