Wizard Rockets is proud to stock the Eggtimer Mini WiFi Switch. This compact piece of electronics serves as a remotely accessible power switch for your flight avionics, allowing you to turn your avionics on and off without a physical switch on the rocket.
This product is ideal for fliers who wish to avoid installing a physical switch on the rocket, perhaps due to rocket design or the simple convenience of remote access.
These kits are sold unbuilt. Good soldering skills are required to complete these kits, though they can be assembled within an hour with a steady hand.

You will need:
- Good soldering skills. These components are mostly surface mount devices requiring a steady hand to solder.
- A suitable power source.
Please consult the manual for your other avionics to determine a suitable power source, making sure not to exceed the 16v maximum voltage of the module.
Wizard Rockets recommends that all avionics are ground-tested before flight to ensure that ejection is reliable and consistent.
This product is designed to operate at up to 12v supply voltage. At supply voltages over about 7v the current draw of the WiFi module is sufficient for the voltage regulator to get warm. Your airframe should be designed to allow some airflow to keep this component at a normal operating temperature.
Important note: Due to the possibility of mistakes during assembly, the kit version of this product does not come with any warranty once the bags are unsealed. Please verify that all components are present and correct before opening the anti-static bags. Assembled or partially assembled products are not covered by warranty. Where possible, we will try to help you diagnose any problems.
