Description
Aeropack retainer, suitable for securing a medium-high power motor into the motor tube.
Features Include:
- Two-piece, lightweight assemblies fit all 24mm through 75mm reloadable and single use motors
- Precision machined 6061-T6 aluminum with black anodizing for wear and corrosion resisitance
- Large quick-turn threads for fast tool-free motor change
- Installation: Simply bond to end of motor mount tube with JB Weld or epoxy adhesive
- Compatible with both solid fuel rocket motors and hybrid rocket motors: Aerotech / Cesaroni
- Just slide motor in & thread on retainer cap. That’s it!
- Can be added to existing rockets with extended motor mount tubes
The motor retainers will need the motor tube to be built overhanging the rear bulkhead. The retainer glues onto this overhanging tube. The minimum tube length is as the table below. Note that this length is a minimum and we recommend at least an additional 2-3mm.
