Medium-Power Reloadable Motor System (RMS)

Aerotech manufactures a range of reloadable rocket motors. Each motor has two distinct parts:

The outer casing or hardware. This is an aerospace-grade aluminium tube and supporting hardware (seals, closures, etc) which the rocket motor reload is inserted into. The casing is then installed in the rocket.
The rocket motor reload itself. This is the combustible part which is ignited and generates the thrust.

Reloadable rocket motors are more expensive to purchase but offer cheaper and more varied flights than single-use rocket motors.

24mm Reloadable Motor System (RMS-24/40)

The RMS-24/40 system offers a large range of motors up to approximately 50Ns (low F-class) in one convenient reloadable casing. The whole system fits into most rocket kits designed for Estes D motors without needing to modify the kit.

To use this system you will need to buy:

The RMS-24/40 motor hardware. Wizard Rockets has loan hardware which may be used if you do not already own the motor hardware.
The motor reload(s) of your choice from the list below.

24mm RC Reloadable Motor System (RMS-RC-24/40)
