Description
The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-54/1706 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. This motor requires installing the stainless steel forward seal disc (54FSDSS) during assembly. Important: This motor is not compatible with the aluminium forward seal disc.
Important: High Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with Mid Power RMS products.
The K2050ST-P is a Plugged motor reload. Plugged reload kits do not utilize a motor-actuated delay or ejection charge. Plugged motors must be used in conjunction with a timer, altimeter or radio-activated recovery system.
This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Super Thunder™ aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a bright violet-blue flame with a minimum of exhaust smoke. Super Thunder™ motors provide a higher ISP than Blue Thunder™.
The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire™ Initiators.
Stainless steel forward seal discs are available for rent from Wizard Rockets at events we attend.
