Europa takes its name from one of Jupiter’s great satellites, and in fact is a very large model.
Thanks to its motor mount that can hold up to five 18 mm engines, Europe can rank among the largest mid-power models with the great advantage of using very economical engines while still having the same power as a much more expensive G engine.
Now you can build a powerful and spectacular model without needing to change your equipment, such as launch pad and launch controller!
The motor mount also allows experimenting with different configurations, combining engines of different power and duration to obtain different flight profiles, and includes a motor retaining system that locks the motors in place by means of stainless steel screws.
The construction is traditional, and requires some experience: the fins are light and robust plywood, and are inserted into the body through an interlocking system that ensures perfect alignment. The model requires coloring by means of spray paints and self-adhesive decals are included.
An interesting detail, common to the whole “Expert” series of Klima models, is the device for filtering the gas of the expulsion charge, which eliminates the need of protective wadding. Thanks to this system the parachute (nylon, pre-sewn and included) is perfectly protected and will last forever.
